Amar Talic is the Director of Coaching at North Shore Girls Soccer Club (NSGSC) in British Columbia, where he leads the club’s technical vision, player development pathways, coach education, and long-term development strategy across the organization.

With extensive experience working across both grassroots and high-performance environments, Amar has focused his career on creating development environments that support players and coaches at every stage of the pathway. His work includes leading technical programming at NSGSC, developing coach education initiatives, supporting high-performance player pathways, and helping build stronger connections between community soccer and elite development.

Amar also brings an international perspective through his work with the European Football School (EFS), an organization with more than 25 years of experience in player development and international football education. His coaching background includes Canada Soccer and UEFA education.

A strong advocate for female player development and coach education, Amar is particularly passionate about creating environments that improve the quality of coaching, increase female participation and retention, and provide meaningful pathways for players to pursue the level of soccer that best suits their goals.

His approach is grounded in the belief that strong player development starts with strong coaches, clear club-wide methodology, and environments that challenge players while supporting their long-term growth.
